I bought the 2600n with my wife beliveing that the it was overpriced. the abilty to capture colors for color documets and especialy for my quick proffs for my wife's photos has made her pleased. I do understand that the cost of the tonner might be high compared to some. However the HP 2600N works wonderful. I have to admit I did go thought a few pages before I got the perfect photo look on standard photo paper, but I execpted that. the 2600n is my printer of choice my old laser seams to be used less and less. I just find reasons to print in color.
